FROM SUNRISE HIGHWAY: Sunrise Highway to Merrick Avenue. Turn on Merrick Avenue northbound under railroad station. Right turn on Benson Lane. Left turn on Johnston Place, into parking lot. We are next to the Outback Steakhouse.

FROM MEADOWBROOK PARKWAY: Exit M8E, follow directions from Sunrise Highway.

FROM SOUTHERN STATE PARKWAY: Exit 24S, Merrick Avenue South. Take Merrick Avenue to Benson Lane (1 block past Smith Street). Left turn on Benson Lane. Left turn on Johnston Place, into parking lot. We are next to the Outback Steakhouse.

FROM SEAFORD-OYSTER BAY EXPRESSWAY: Exit 2, Sunrise Highway West. Follow directions from Sunrise Highway.

Notes

AT THE TIME OF YOUR EXAMINATION: Please bring all your glasses with you to the examination. If you usually wear contact lenses, wear them to the exam and bring your glasses and a contact lens case. If you take several medications, bring an updated list.

DILATING DROPS: If it is your first eye exam in our office, the doctor will probably put drops in your eyes to dilate your pupils. This allows the doctor to get a better view of the inside of the eye. The drops make you sensitive to light and last 2 -4 hours. If you are sensitive or will be coming from a distance, bring someone with you to drive.

Examinations with the doctors are by appointment. You do not need an appointment to pick up glasses or contact lenses, but it is a good idea to call before you come so we can be better prepared for you.
